Electric Vehicles (EVs) have garnered significant attention as a promising solution for mitigating climate-altering emissions and improving fuel efficiency. To fully harness the advantages of EVs, the implementation of efficient Energy Management Systems (EMS) becomes imperative in maximizing the efficiency and distribution of power among the sources of electric vehicle. This abstract presents a novel approach to EV energy management using fuzzy logic, a computational technique inspired by human decision-making processes. The productiveness of the introduced electric vehicle energy management system using fuzzy logic is evaluated through simulation studies and compared with traditional rule-based control strategies. By providing adaptive and intelligent control, this system can contribute significantly to the widespread adoption of environmentally friendly transportation solutions. As the efficiency of the EVs is less compared to the traditional diesel/petrol vehicles, the use of certain controllers like PI, Fuzzy Logic in the energy management system provides the EVs with a reliable and efficient operation.
