with the development of industrial automation, more and more ZigBee network was applied. The security of ZigBee network becomes more important. Chaotic sequence, which possesses pseudo-randomness naturally, can be used for data encryption as stream cipher. Based on chaotic theory and starting from the angle of application, this paper offers a compound chaotic cryptographic system, which is based on optical bistability model and Logistic model, used as chaotic sequence cipher. The complicated degree of chaotic sequences and cryptographic specific property are strengthened. The compound chaotic cryptographic system needs a little memory but is of high safety. Through encryption test, it shows the system has high security, is realized easily, and the encryption speed is very fast.
