The combined position-finding accuracies of netted monostatic and netted bistatic radars are calculated. Both are compared by the ratio of the areas of the error ellipses. This is illustrated by two symmetrical examples of configurations, a linear and a triangular one, with an equal tangential-to-radial measurement error ratio. It is shown that the results essentially depend on the range dependence of the measurement errors.
