The report presents theoretical and experimental studies of the relationship between speed, route and energy costs in passenger ships. With the use of experimental data from voyages of a passenger ship on different routes under different conditions, dependences are obtained for analysis of the optimal modes of movement, which leads to the realization of maximum savings of electricity and primary energy.
