Aircraft assembly constitutes a crucial phase in aircraft manufacturing, where traditional production management models are increasingly inadequate to fulfill the contemporary demands for diversified, small-batch, and customized aircraft products. This paper proposes a reconfigurable digital twin system for managing aircraft assembly production, aimed at establishing a management platform that synchronizes in real time with the production environment. Building upon an analysis of the specific characteristics of aircraft assembly and its production requirements, the paper outlines a conceptual framework for the construction of the digital twin system component library. It further conducts a business decomposition of both the geometric component library and the service component library, detailing their construction processes and design development. Through the high modularity and configurability of components, a reconfigurable digital twin system is achieved.
