Day by day, demand has been rising in recent years. According to research, lighting the streets uses a significant amount of power in many nations. The majority of basic street lighting systems is turned ON and OFF at predetermined intervals of time. This study aims to create a power saving street light system that will useless electricity on roads during the absence of vehicles. Significant electrical power is saved by the suggested system. The lifespan of the lights could also be extended as a result. If no vehicles are moving through the road, this mechanism will operate to keep the street lighting intensity at 40% of its maximum level. When the IR sensor detects movement of the car, the street lights will be turned all the way up. LDR is used by the technology to differentiate between day and night. Once daytime is recognized, all of the streetlights will be in the OFF position. An Arduino microcontroller manages the system. The Arduino receives a signal from the IR sensor, which doubles as a car detector, and modifies the LED's brightness. The energy-efficient street lighting control system's prototype also has safety features, as it only dims the light slightly so that people can still see it clearly from a distance and fully turns on the light if it senses movement.
