This paper focuses on the optimization strategies of sail angles in unmanned sailboats under various wind conditions. CFD and VPP are employed to conduct an in-depth analysis of unmanned sailboat performance. By comparing the CFD simulations with VPP calculations, the paper highlights the necessity of precise sail angle adjustment in real sailing conditions and points out the discrepancies between theoretical models and practical applications. The paper also discusses future research directions, including further optimization of simulation models, incorporation of more environmental factors and real sailing conditions, and conducting actual sailing trials to validate and improve theoretical models.
