This paper develops and demonstrates a taxi pre-alarm system which is based on transportation hub information platform and urban taxi information platform and running in transportation hub in order to maintain continuous, enough and rational taxi supply and aiming at improving the taxi service lever of transportation hubs. The system is mainly made up of three key models: Real-time Taxi-demand Estimate Model, Taxi Holding Quantity Calculation Model and Dynamic Pre-Alarm Area Estimate Model, which are discussed and studied in this paper for the first time. And these models are organically integrated with the two information platforms and run under the system framework. During the research, some useful approaches are adopt, such as statistic theory, SP/RP survey, and queue theory, which will be expounded in detail in this paper. To validate the validity of the system, simulation experiences are performed. The results of simulation are close to reality, and relative analysis is presented. Meanwhile, The results indicate that this system is rational and effective and can help us in practical project application.
