We present a new deductive model to simulate vehicular traffic with multiple lanes in which most system parameters are derived from known physical quantities. This model takes into consideration the so-called safety distance which is indispensable in practical driving. This model is designed for asymmetric traffic (as in the case of Germany and most other countries in Western Europe) but can be modified to suit symmetric traffic conditions as well.
