Many efforts have been paid to develop fiber-optic interferometer filters for WDM applications. Even though several stabilization schemes have been attempted, there is no report made on a scheme offering continuous wavelength tunability. We report the first successful demonstration, to our knowledge, of continuous tuning of transmission wavelength peaks in a stabilized fiber-optic Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) filter.
