Autonomous and advanced robotic systems have grown in popularity in recent years due to their wide range of applications, particularly in manufacturing, logistics, and other industries that require repetitive or precise work. These systems have proven to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost savings while prioritizing worker safety by eliminating the need for humans to perform repetitive or hazardous tasks. This study provides an overview of the design and development of an autonomous drone system, with an emphasis on key features and capabilities of the system. This research study proposes a novel design and development of an autonomous drone system capable of performing predefined missions with precision and dependability without the need for human intervention. The prototype makes use of several advanced technologies, such as onboard obstacle avoidance sensors and weather monitoring sensors. Various algorithms are implemented to feed data from sensors to the flight controller to control the drone's flight path, navigate waypoints, and avoid obstacles autonomously. The research outcomes will include successful autonomous flight demonstrations, highlighting the drone's ability to complete complex missions. In conclusion, this paper focuses on the design and development of an autonomous drone system, demonstrating its potential to revolutionize multiple industries while also improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability when used responsibly and ethically.
