Within the last years Pleione Energy has been involved in several activities related to the exploitation of Graphene in energy storage applications, such as batteries and supercapacitors, starting from material level and working through all the way to assess the impact of Graphene in system level. The activities have been conducted under the supervision of European Space Agency in three levels, starting with the development and optimization phase in material and electrode level, passing then to the design, manufacturing and optimization of the battery and supercapacitor cell and finally on the development phase of battery and supercapacitor power modules.
