In order to maintain the balance between the flight performance and the accumulation of airframe damage of the air-breathing hypersonic flight vehicle, a longitudinal elastic prescribed performance damage-mitigating controller is designed in this paper to delay the damage accumulation of the flight vehicle during flight. Firstly, the force model and damage dynamics model of the aircraft are established. Secondly, the longitudinal elastic model of the aircraft is established; then, the longitudinal elastic prescribed performance damage-mitigating controller is designed; Finally, the effectiveness of the designed controller is verified by simulation. the simulation results show that, on the basis of considering the elastic factors, the longitudinal damage-mitigating controller can effectively delay the damage accumulation during the flight of the flight vehicle, and ensure the performance at the same time, which provides an important reference for maintaining the balance between the flight performance and the damage accumulation in the future.
