As a hot research topic, there is a large number of research findings on Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM). LSRM has a simple structure and high reliability, and is also convenient for installation and maintenance. But traditional LSRM has a fatal shortcoming that it has a very low motor output force, because LSRM only has one stator winding will be excited when it is working. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a novel LSRM with the stator windings, when motor is working, the corresponding stator windings are also excited. The introduction of the stator windings can improve the force density and power density.
