The objective of this paper is to show the behavior of telecontrol time in embedded systems. A clientserver remote control architecture was used using an FPGA (Compact RIO) and an embedded computer (Raspberry Pi). The FPGA was used as a DAQ and as an embedded system and in both cases the communication times were measured and characterized statistically for analysis. It was concluded that depending on its configuration, it can affect the FPGA performance.
