Forest fires pose severe risks to ecosystems, property, and human life, necessitating advanced detection and management solutions. This paper presents the development of a solar-aided drone designed to enhance forest fire surveillance through sustainable and efficient technologies. The paper aims to address limitations in traditional wildfire detection systems by integrating renewable energy sources with sophisticated detection algorithms. The drone mobility has been optimized to minimize the collision risks. real-time feedback communication has been provided. The drone's performance has been evaluated through extensive testing, demonstrating effective wildfire detection, point-to-point reliable communication, and sustainable operation. Results indicating the solar-aided drone accuracy and timely wildfire alerts has been presented. while extended flight time using airborne renewable energy system, has been demonstrated, using onboard solar panel and a battery storage backup system. This innovative approach highlights the potential for integrating cutting-edge technologies into environmental management, offering a significant step forward in wildfire detection and prevention.
