Summary form only given, as follows. A series of investigations are reported on the geometrical and temperature dependencies of the negative differential conductance effects observed in doped and symmetrical double barrier single quantum well (DBSQW) devices, as well as in asymmetrical multiple quantum well variable spaced superlattice structures.
