Image segmentation has important practical value and research significance in real life. The novel level set image segmentation model proposed in this paper is mainly used for target images with uneven backgrounds. The experimental results show that the traditional GAC segmentation model method does not affect image edge segmentation. Meanwhile, the improved PDE-based GAC level set segmentation method proposed in this paper has a better segmentation effect on the edge.
