Today, the automatic recognition of number plates serves as the cornerstone of efficient traffic management, and the automatic localization and detection of number plates are useful for a variety of purposes, including the detection of fake number plates and the generation of e-Challans when traffic laws are broken. Along with these problems, it is also important to focus on whether the vehicle is insured, and this is what the current project addresses. A minimum amount of third-party liability insurance must be carried by all vehicles, according to the Motor Vehicles Act of 1998. Vehicle insurance is mandatory because it protects drivers from the financial costs of accidents. The availability of compensation for victims of harm brought on by other drivers is also supported by laws governing vehicle insurance. Bodily injury and property damage insurance are the coverages that are needed by the majority of states. This study focuses on determining whether the vehicle is insured or not by automatically detecting the number plate and verifying with the database if the vehicle is uninsured. If so, a fine is assessed and a notification is sent to the registered phone number.
