This paper proposes a transformer-less high-gain DC-DC converter that utilizes a dual-switched-inductor-capacitor (DSLC) topology for renewable applications. The design of the DSLC topology is studied exhaustively, and the parameters are optimized to achieve high efficiency. This converter topology consists of two inductors that are switched alternately to transmit power from an energy source's input to a load's end. With this topology, a transformer is not necessary to get a boost in voltage, which brings down the system's price and complexity. In addition to high gain, this converter topology also features a common ground, which reduces the overall system complexity and improves the output voltage ripple. A thorough analysis of the converter's structure is performed. The suggested topology has been analyzed theoretically and simulated using software tools. These results make the proposed converter a promising option for industrial applications demanding high voltage gain.
