System performance is an important characteristic in wireless communication. The behaviour of channel plays very important role in wireless communication system design. The received signal quality depends on various channel aspects like fading, scattering, interference etc. In this paper, the performance of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) with different number of antenna configuration in wireless system with different fading channels is analyzed. Here Rayleigh, Rician, Nakagami and Weibull fading channels are used to calculate bit error rate and capacity of MIMO $\mathbf{4x4}$ antenna system with channel state information and without channel state information. The analysis is carried in MATLAB R 2015a.
