To reduce the torque ripple in the phase change zone of the switched reluctance machine, a control approach combining the characteristics of the double stator switched reluctance machine (DSSRM) and the improved torque sharing function (TSF) control strategy is proposed. First, the state of the phase change zone is determined by comparing the torque prediction value with delay compensation and the reference torque value. Then, by setting the control parameters, the phase change zones of the inner and outer stators are completely staggered. On this basis, the reference torque is corrected online for each state of the phase change zone, aiming to achieve torque compensation by the torque of the other stator. Finally, the tracking of the corrected reference torque is realized by calculating the cost function. Through simulation and experimental verification, the proposed control strategy has a significant influence on suppressing torque ripple.
