Improving the operation technology of railway stations and freight terminals is an urgent task for railway transport. In these conditions, an increase in the work efficiency of process engineers is associated with the introduction of special software tools for simulating station technology. The aim of this study is to improve the graphical model of functioning of railway stations and freight terminals. Methods of graph theory and object-oriented analysis were used as research methods. The model improvement was achieved through a formal description of the connections between objects servicing operations at railway stations, as well as adding a list of objects and technologies to the model. The graphic editor developed based on the proposed model allows reducing the workload on technologists when performing graphic works and freeing up their time for solving problems of improving station technology.
