□ The recently released CONOPS by FAA on the integration of UASs into the NAS requires merging without sacrificing safety □ To achieve this goal, the Sense And Avoid (SAA) capability is mandated/required for all UASs in all categories □ Ideally the SAA should possess ▪ Common algorithm (CA) to be used by most/all UASs ▪ The CA should be simple, flexible, and effective □ The objective of this work is to propose and demonstrate a CA called “Multiple-Trajectory-Prediction” based SAA to fulfill the requirement.
