Understanding the dynamics of the passengers' daily mobility is of great importance to the management of ports and the planning of transportation system. In this paper, the movement patterns of departing as well as arriving passengers' of Futian Port are investigated by exploring the subway dataset both in temporal and spatial dimension. According to the analysis results, the main contributions of the present article lie in: a. demonstrating the potential of using transportation records as data sources to gain insights into Shenzhen-Hong Kong ports passengers' mobility; b. exploring the relationship between temporal-spatial patterns of subway data distribution and the underlying inhabitants' behavior logic.
