This paper presents a behavioural analysis of a railway traction system, which includes a typical interaction between electrical and mechanical parts: the pantograph detachment phenomena. Simulation results, obtained on the SABER solver, allow an analysis of the perturbation effects, from input filter to the transmitted force to the wheel.
