In this paper we show the technique of using a retrodirective array consisting of a cluster of sub-arrays configured for use as sensor for automobile control/telemetry applications. Basic system parameters are defined for millimeter operation. The characteristics of softboard sub-arrays are described. Finally, the performance of an unmodulated retrodirective array is given in order to illustrate the potential of the technique. (5 pages)
