In response to your request, we reviewed the U.S. Special Operations Commands (USSOCOM) acquisition strategy for aircraft electronic warfare systems. Specifically, we determined the soundness of USSOCOMs electronic warfare acquisition strategy in terms of correcting deficiencies and maximizing commonality in its aircraft survivability equipment. This is our second and final report in response to your request. It focuses on helicopters operated by USSOCOMs Army component, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. We addressed USSOCOMs fixed-wing Air Force aircraft in a prior report to you.
