This document contains a final report on all technical activity on Contract No. DE-FG02-84ER13239. This work involved a one-year theoretical study of the airflow that takes place inside a rolling pneumatic tire. Analytical and numerical studies of the flow are reported, which show details of the velocity, pressure and temperature fields that are generated at low forward speed. These results are found to be consistent with velocity-field measurements taken under a previous Department of Energy study. 9 figs. (ERA citation 11:032465)
