The University of Miami Vehicular Crash Study Team has completed in-depth investigation of thirty crash incidents. It was found that drivers licensing techniques are inadequate and alcohol plays a most significant role in fatal vehicular crashes. Vehicle construction (for the purpose of providing occupants with safe packaging) is not adequate for today's driving habits, and Environmental Factors: It is necessary to establish certain minimum standards for roadway design, construction and maintenance.
