The report contain an evaluation of the Army's Aquila remotely piloted vehicle program. It covers operational testing conducted at Fort Hood, Texas, from November 17, 1986, to March 25, 1987. The purpose of the test was to assess the Aquila's ability to accomplish its mission in its planned operational environment and to evaluate other key characteristics, such as reliability and maintability. The report assesses the Aquila's readiness for production based primarily on its performance in operational testing and the adequacy of the test.
