Local Buckling is expected to become an important design issue when metallic materials in conventional stiffened panels are replaced by Fiber Metal Laminates (FML). This report describes an experimental study to validate the use of existing design methods for initial buckling and postbuckling of flat and curved unstiffened FML panels.
