The manoeuvres of the application satellite SYMPHONIE are simulated by a motion simulator facility to increase confidence in the performance of the satellite attitude control system. Earth sensor, sun sensor, and attitude control electronics are used as hardware components in the simulation. The dynamics of the satellite is simulated by an analog computer. The dynamical motion simulation facility is considered as a new approach to a simulation technique with actual components. (Author)
