The report documents a demonstration project establishing a new crosstown bus line. It presents data on the crosstown bus line: its market area, ridership, passenger riding habits, relationship to other Sacramento Transit lines, and the effects of information programs on ridership. Information prsented was derived from an on-bus survey, and a random sample of households constituting a potential market base for the new line. (Author)
