The effort described in this report is part of a continuing effort to define the requirements of future Army air traffic regulation systems, and is in particular aimed at establishing the Automatic Data Processing (ADP), man/machine interface, and communications systems requirements. The report defines the ADP, peripheral, and man/machine functional and equipment requirements of an Army Tactical Airspace Regulation System. Computer memory size, word length, speed, as well as display Input/Output techniques are postulated. Equipment reliability, availability, and manual backup capability is also defined. In addition, the special requirements of aircraft navigation and stationkeeping; and time-synchronized systems are covered. (Author)
