TCRP Report 16 will be of interest to a broad cross section of individuals involved in transportation and land use planning and development. The research addressed many facets of the relationships between land use and public transportation. These relationships are re-examined, explained, evaluated, and documented to facilitate cost-effective multimodal public transportation investiment decisions. Volume I has two parts covering (1) transit, urban form, and the built environment and (2) commuter and light rail transit corridors.
