The study is concerned with normal pre-flight and post-flight cockpit procedures for the H-34 helicopter. The so-called normal procedures may be divided into five phases: pre-start, engine start, rotor engagement, ground run-up, and shut-down. Both the H-21 and H-34 CPT's have the capability of simulating system failures and emergencies which cannot be simulated in the aircraft.
