This report presents the results of a detailed analysis of the Los Angeles International Airport. The analysis was conducted by the Los Angeles Airport Improvement Working Group which had representatives from the airport sponsor, the Air Transport Association, the airlines serving Los Angeles, and the Federal Aviation Administration. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the causes of delay and the potential delay reduction benefits of recommended improvements. The effort was part of the Airport Improvement Program.
