A thrust stand and calibration system is described by which the direction of the thrust vector of a rocket motor can be resolved over consecutive 50 msec intervals to within 0.7 milliradian. The angle of the overall impulse vector can be measured to 0.5 milliradian. Methods of improving the accuracy of the system are discussed. (Author)
