The report discusses the feasibility of a new bus transit system for a small town in North Carolina. A short-lived attempt at starting a bus company in Lumberton, N. C. is analyzed and the reasons for the economic failure of the company are given. Sources of financing are suggested and vehicle maintenance, manpower development and charter and school bus operations are also discussed. (Author)
