Hands-on experimental training in the physical behavior of multiplying systems is one of ten key areas of training required for practitioners to become qualified in the discipline of criticality safety as identified in DOE-STD-1135-99, Guidance for Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer Training and Qualification. This document is a criticality safety evaluation of the training activities (or operations) associated with HS-3200, Laboratory Class for Criticality Safety. These activities utilize the Training Assembly for Criticality Safety (TACS).
