The aerodynamic characteristics of slender delta wings for subsonic commercial aircraft applications are discussed. The flow distribution on the wing for various airspeed conditions is described. The characteristics of conventional wings are compared with those of the slender delta wing. Graphs of the performance of the slender delta wing for various conditions of ground effect, angle of attack, glide conditions, and aerodynamic stall are included. (Author)
