The primary objective of this task was to provide a comprehensive review of current logistic functions that support and sustain legacy space systems and to identify potential research opportunities and technology thrusts that could improve or enhance current and future space systems. The outcome of this effort was the identification of approximately 80 space logistics/ sustainment deficiencies in current Air Force space systems. In addition, this task also produced a ranked list of 15 potential research concepts from the list of deficiencies for further consideration.
