Various stage configurations are evaluated and compared with propulsion systems presently in use. A sensitivity study indicates the parameters critically affecting the feasibility of the design. The estimation of performance considers the effect of a modified mission. Performance and cost can be used as criteria for the selection of an optimum space tug propulsion system.
