The report describes experimental studies on attitude control thrusters for satellites and space probes performed within a BMBW-supported research activity at the DFVLR in Trauen. The investigated thrusters develop a vacuum thrust of 1 to 10 N. The components of the gaseous propellant system hydrogen/oxygen are injected through a coaxial injector element. Subject of these investigations is the examination of simple methods solving thermodynamic and reaction kinetic problems by varying the injector conditions in the coaxial injector element considering minimum thruster dimensions and optimum cooling.
