The primary objectives of the research were to: (1) Determine hydraulic characteristics of recessed curb inlets for different flow conditions and curb inlet geometries; (2) Determine hydraulic characteristics of three types of bridge deck drains with different flow conditions and geometries; and (3) Develop design information related to objectives 1 and 2.
