A mathematical model for the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) mode of the automatic flight control system (AFCS) for the Sea King Mk. 50 helicopter is presented. An outline of the ASW mode facilities is given first, followed by a description of the mathematical model, which includes a representation of each major element of the aircraft system. (Author)
