The jet-actuated device includes, in combination, a rocket motor having at least one exit nozzle, a propellant grain within the motor and a flame-suppressing disk bonded to the nozzle end of the grain. The disk consists essentially of potassium sulfate, potassium perchlorate, nitrocellulose, pentaerythritol trinitrate and metadihydroxy-benzene.
