The MOHS is pleased to present the Fiscal Year 2015 Highway Safety Performance Plan (HSPP). This Highway Safety Performance Plan (HSPP) contains the goals, strategies, performance measures and objectives that the MOHS has set for fiscal year 2015 (October 1, 2014 – September 30, 2015). The HSPP is required by the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations, in order to provide the State with Highway Safety Funds. The MOHS program operates under the provisions of the Federal Highway Safety Act of 1966, 23 Chapter 4, Section 402. Section 402 funds can be used for a variety of highway traffic safety initiatives.
