The purpose of the paper is to outline the tests that were made in designing and proving an air circulation system that ensures temperatures of 0F or lower in refrigerated trucks, without additional insulation beyond the 3-5 inches presently used in most vehicles hauling frozen foods, without increasing the size of the refrigeration unit generally used in these vehicles, and at little increase in cost of construction.
